DISTRIBUTION
Dancing to forget, dancing to celebrate, dancing to move on.
"Am I normal? How to accept and affirm one's difference in a standard society, which tends to compulsively categorize and label individuals? Oh baby marks William Cardoso's attempt to question our relationship to the norm and to explore, through movement, a multitude of gender identities and sexual orientations. A nuanced celebration of love for self and other.
This choreographic piece, intense and full of questions, sometimes without answers, will be dark and brilliant at the same time, sad and joyful, dark and hopeful. It will be a metaphor for the complexity of the world we live in.

PAPAYA is an Afro-feminist performance directed by artists and activists who investigate Afro-descendant liberation, intimacy and care. Across borders, the collective asks how to create, nurture, heal and share the conditions of self-love beyond discrimination? Through performances, the artists try to raise questions from their respective autobiographical perspectives.

DISTRIBUTION
"In the meanders of beliefs, certainties mingle, devoid of proof."
Seated on a throne beneath a golden carpet, a body takes its place. Ample and imposing, it invades this space, takes possession of it and exposes itself to people's gaze. Proclaiming what it is, what it thinks it is and what it wants us to believe. A carrot in his hand. Is he the bait or has he been baited? Eat, eat, as long as you can only see the end of the carrot.
This choreographic solo plunges us into the discovery of a curious and atypical character who transports us into his absurd and poetic universe, questioning, through the state of the body, the order of manipulation and the transformation of ideas received and shared. The power of allowing oneself to be contaminated, of making people believe and believing in them, like a constant transformation of an inner need that leads us to build our own beliefs.

With Weaver, a dance piece for three female dancers, choreographer Anne-Mareike Hess will use the image of weaving and its inherent creative potential of connecting and net-working and transfer it into a contemporary choreographic reflection on our society today.
A story in which past and future, individual and collective fate of the female body are interwoven into the dense fabric of social togetherness.

"(di) SPERARE" is a fragment of the choreographic triptych "CREDERE", which explores the intricacies of human beliefs and the vital need to believe.
In "(di) SPERARE", we taste the contagion of two bodies that allow themselves to be transported in a dialogue of concordance and oppositions, extremes and excesses, connection and disconnection, hopes and despair, leading them to lose themselves and find each other again to become aware of the invisible links that bind them together.
SYNOPSIS
In a parallel idea, we are also questioning the word Deadline, which constantly surrounds us. A strong word that heralds the future break-up of something. Historically, this word was used to designate the limits of a prison. Anyone who dares to cross the deadline will be shot.
In a less dramatic context, deadline is used, as we all know it, to designate the end of something. A word that carries a certain emotion with it, which may or may not always be pleasant.
Rupture and deadline are words that interest us in creating a certain imperative in the body and also in the changes of tables. Pushing the limits of an image or an emotion. We want to play on the urgency and anxiety that come from these two words.
Breaking away from the system to go elsewhere, breaking away to be reborn.
In this work, we are looking to explore the idea of rupture, which underlines the contradictory spirit that we develop through the body in the final works. The rupture is not a surprise, the rupture is, here, an accessory that we use to create a shift in the path of the movement.
William is interested in this idea of contact dance, which he takes completely the wrong way round. Contact dance is raw and not fluid. Something on the order of urgency. Like a kind of euphoria where the desire to touch the other takes priority over the technique of the body and the dancer. We try to study the space and translate it into a playground where the body can tell its story. Urgency means raw and dry. Two words that underline the main lines of our research work. The study of movement and its meaning is of real importance in our work.
We're working on a dance and performance that moves around, but above all addresses the public. Authenticity is an important subject and moment in each work. How can an artist be authentic? How can we put our knowledge as dancers in the background and our experience as humans center stage?

In "Moi, Voyageur de rêve", Youri de Gussem expresses his admiration for his "dedo", his Macedonian grandfather who emigrated at the age of 18 to get what he could never have had in his home country: the freedom to choose his own destiny.
This story takes the audience through a series of nocturnal landscapes, escaping border patrols and camps... I demonstrates hte determination of those who aspire to a better life, far from war, suffering and horror.
SYNOPSIS
Angriff stages a performance of two queer men who display their love in front of everyone's eyes. We will leverage the performance and break out of the traditional dance framework in this project. A tribute to all those who had to suffer and die to give us the freedom of expression we have today. In a kind of circle, the audience will be placed in the position of a voyeur. The show will exist through their energy.
In this work, William develops a parallel idea with an exclusively male cast on male identity. What does it mean to be a man today? In Western society, the codes have changed, but not necessarily the mentalities.
